Synopsis

Garabonciás is a wandering scholar who enthralls Sarika, the daughter of a rich landowner, who is already engaged. On the advice of her nurse she takes a drink which will disclose the future for her in a dream. She sees the scholar and his wife, first well-off, later destitute and joining the gipsies. On awakening she is now glad to stay with her family and the man to whom she is engaged.
