Synopsis

The story relates the rags-to-riches story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, taking care along the way to provide versions of their many chart-topping hits.

This generic tale of Jersey boys making good, breaking up and making up becomes an accumulation of incidents.

The new musical is billed as "The story of how a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time," according to the production notes. "They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide - all before they were 30."
