Synopsis

Aspiring musician, Lorne, becomes deeply involved with a top hooker, Celandine, in an atmosphere of hot hearts and hot music among the fleshpots and jazz clubs of New Orleans - all of which leads to a tragic finale. (Shades of Bizet's Carmen)
